Add ChemVantage to your course

  1. Ask your LMS administrator to enable the ChemVantage LTI 1.3 tool for your institution.
  2. In your course, create an assignment in ChemVantage as an External Tool using Deep Linking.
  3. Select the desired assignment type and publish.
  4. When the assignment launches, set policies and select question items from the Instructor Page.

ChemVantage uses LTI to receive user and course information from your LMS for the purposes of authentication, delivering assessments, and returning grades. Data is retained only as long as necessary to support these functions.

  • Personal data shared via LTI depends on your LMS configuration and role.
  • Data is not shared with or sold to third parties.
  • No user Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is stored on ChemVantage servers
  • Instructors and administrators can request data removal as permitted by institutional policy.
